Payment: A deposit is required when booking, and the remaining amount is paid locally at the rental station.

Payment for this reservation can only be made by credit card. Car rental agents require the driver to present a valid credit card to the rental office (and not debit) in his name. This is due to the deposit that needs to be held on the credit card until the vehicle is returned as long as the car has not been damaged or stolen. Always make sure your credit card has sufficient balance at the time of rental. The mandated amount is generally the cost of security and advance fuel, but it varies according to the size of the vehicle, the age of the driver, the duration of the rental and the pick-up location.
In the event that you fail to provide a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds on your credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In such cases, no refund of any amount already paid.

The minimum driver age for vehicle rental is 23 years and may vary depending on the vehicle category.

The maximum age is 75 years.

Possession of a full European or International Driving License required, obtained at least one year prior to rental, and be in effect at the time of rental and until its termination.

An International Driving Permit is not required for license holders from the following countries:

– From a member state of the European Union

– United Kingdom of Great Britain and N. Ireland, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, USA, Canada, Australia

– Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Central African Republic, Chile, Costa Rica, Ivory Coast, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Georgia, Ghana, Guyana, Holy See, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Niger, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, San Marino, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tajikistan, Thailand, North Macedonia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Zimbabwe.

When picking up the vehicle, it is necessary to show a police ID or passport for identification.

Vehicles are not allowed to cross the Greek border.

Rentals between different rental stations are allowed between specific stations.

Your vehicle will remain available for up to two hours after the agreed pick-up time, you should contact us if you are going to receive it after this time.

The amount sanctioned/collected is mainly the damage waiver amount and the fuel guarantee. The credit card must be issued in the name of the primary driver.

The amount corresponding to any unused rental period is not refunded or credited for future use.

The 1st additional driver is free. Any additional drivers are arranged and paid locally and are not included in the basic rental price.
Additional drivers must present a passport (or police ID card) the 2 alternative forms of identification other than a driver's license.
Minimum/maximum driver age restrictions also apply to additional drivers.

Fuel is paid for by the customer and the vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as received. Any difference is paid locally.

• Fines and Penalties
  You are responsible for the cost of any fine or other penalty incurred during your hire of the vehicle. The rental supplier will pass the relevant charge on to you plus any handling charges.
  
• Out of Hours Billing
  Out of hours service (i.e. between 21:00 and 07:30) is possible with an additional charge of €26.04
  
• Charge for delivery and pick-up services at hotels, ports, railway stations and bus stations:
  Delivery and collection is possible by arrangement with the local station. The additional charge is €31.00 per service
  
• Delayed Return of the Vehicle:
  If the vehicle is returned later than the time indicated on the voucher, the supplier will charge you for the delay.

Special orders are available upon request and are subject to availability and seasonal changes and are provided by location. Fulfillment of special orders is not guaranteed. A security deposit is required for most locations.

• Children's / Infant Seats:
  Children's / Baby Seats are available for an additional fee (The Customer must specify the age of the child and they are placed only by the parent or guardian). The charge is €7 per day
  
• Additional Guides:
  The 1st additional driver is free. The cost for each additional driver is €3.72 per day and per driver
  
• Navigation system (GPS):
  Available at an additional cost of €7.44 per day
  
• Snow chains:
  Snow chains are available for an extra charge of €37.2 per rental.
  
• Roof Racks:
  They are not available
  

The customer understands that all insurance coverage is provided by the company that provides the rental vehicle and not Kasimiotis IKE. Liability for damages in excess of the purchased insurance coverage rests with the renter of the vehicle. Kasimiotis IKE does not provide any insurance coverage in relation to the rental of the vehicle and bears no responsibility for damages that may occur in the event of an accident.

CDW is included in the rental cost and sets the maximum amount of responsibility of the renter at:
€700.00 for groups A, BA, B, BB, B1, CA, C, CAD,
€900.00 for group A1, D, DD, D1, D2, E1, F, F1D,KA
€1200.00 for groups H, H1, J, J1, J1A, J2, J2A, J3A, M, MD, M1,M1A, M1D,N,THAT,P
€2,200.00 for group L

*Note: In case of an accident, you must call the police and report the incident immediately, then submit a copy of the police report along with the rental agreement to the rental company. CDW cover does not apply beyond the rental period agreed with the local rental company. For more details regarding this insurance coverage, please contact the rental station where you will pick up your vehicle.

By choosing this insurance, the renter reduces the amount of the exemption in the event of an accident to €0 (zero) paying daily the amount of:
€8 for A categories,BA,B,BB,B1, CA,C,CAD, A1, D,DD,D1, D2, E1, F, F1D,KA and
€19.84 for H categories,H1,J,J1, J1A, J2, J2A, J3A, L, M, MD, M1,M1A, M1D,N,THAT,P

Kasimiotis Car rentals provides an optional insurance that covers damage to the wheels, in the tires, on the bottom of the car (if no damage was caused by the driver's intention or negligence) and in the mirrors, paying the daily amount of €5 for all categories.

* Note: Always, a valid credit card in the name of the primary driver must be presented as a guarantee for the rental.

**Please note that damage to the interior of the car, as in the keys, antennas, etc. are not covered unless caused by an accident. Y’ this reason, despite the extra insurances, our partner can reserve an amount up to 200 euros for the damages that are not covered.

Our vehicles can be transported by ship to any place within the Greek borders after consultation and agreement with the local station. However, the provided insurances do not cover the transport of the vehicle by ship. Extra security (Ferry insurance), which covers transportation by ship, is available for purchase locally at an additional cost of €74.4 per rental.

The CDWs, FDW & WUG is not insurance but an agreement between Autounion and the hirer
Charges for any of the damages listed below will be charged directly to the customer regardless of whether they have accepted the CDW, FDW, WUG with more important ones:
Radio antenna, ashtrays and vehicle drawers, damage to vehicle locks, loss or damage to vehicle keys;, windshield wipers, interior of the vehicle, spare wrench and jack, so, light fixtures, fuel tank cap, damage to the vehicle upholstery, damage to the roof of the vehicle, damage caused by a roof rack or luggage on it, extreme dirt inside the vehicle, personal belongings in a rental vehicle, damages caused by negligence, damages due to incorrect / problematic type of fuel, damage to children's / baby seats, loss of electricity due to a forgotten switched on electrical device or devices, loss of vehicle documents, loss of license plates.
The vehicle rental company, is in no case obliged to replace a broken one – punctured tire or damage to audio players(radio, CD/mp3 player, etc.).
Towing costs are not covered by any insurance coverage.
Kasimiotis car rental will not refund any costs related to telephone use, cab, or hotel accommodation.
Kasimiotis car rental or the rental company bear no responsibility for anyone driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages / narcotics, causes intentional damage, drives off road, drives without the required care and attention or for damages due to negligence and a violation of the Code of Civil Procedure.
The customer assumes full responsibility in the event of such claims.
Any unreported damage or accident to the vehicle may be taken as negligence. This may result in the customer being charged.

Included in the rental cost, in case of theft or fire you must call the police and report the incident immediately, then submit a copy of the police report along with the rental agreement and vehicle keys to the rental company. The insurance cover does not exempt you in case of partial theft or damage caused by attempted theft (the liability waiver amount applies). The Theft Insurance cover does not apply beyond the rental period agreed with the local rental company. Additional insurance coverage such as Ferry insurance or WUG (Insurance coverage of the underside of the vehicle and glass surfaces) are available for purchase by the customer.

If you cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled collection of the vehicle, there is no charge. For cancellations made in less than 24 hours after receiving the vehicle the cancellation penalty is equal to the amount paid at the time of booking/ booking confirmation.
